Age 95 of Minneapolis, born Sep. 22, 1919 in Selz, ND to Nels & Elise Hoff, passed away Jan. 9, 2015. Lila served in the WAC during WWII and worked for the Federal Probation Office retiring as Chief Clerk after 25 years. Lila will be dearly missed by her children, Karen Putnam (Harold Wren) and Gary Ness; 5 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Helen Toso and Luella Schiesser; sisters-in-law, Ann Hoff and Eleanor Hoff and a host of other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, Jan 13th at Lake Nokomis Luth. Ch., 5011 31st Ave. S., Mpls. Lila will be laid to rest with her husband, Alvin at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.
