Lester James Flanagan
Our beloved father left this world Sunday, Oct. 7th, 2018. He was born Monday, Aug. 29th, 1932 in Parker’s Prairie, South Dakota to parents Lester Thomas Flanagan and Margaret Devine Flanagan. He is preceded in death by wife Mary Jean, brother Clyde, sisters Wilhelmina (Mina) and Mary Agnes, and infant daughter Mary Ann. He is survived by daughter Kelly Roberts (fiance Gary Tibbetts), son Christopher (Natalie Streiff), daughter Teresa Giammona (Mark), son Patrick (Angelea Lawson), and 14 grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Services will be held Monday, Oct. 15th 2018 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, MN 55124 at 1 p.m., with visitation at 12 p.m. Refreshments will be served at Vivo Restaurant Apple Valley from 3-5 PM. Many thanks given to the staff members at Augustana Care Center of Apple Valley, Fairview Ridges-Burnsville, Cancer Care Center Regions Hospital, HealthPartners Apple Valley and Drs. Balkrishna Jahagirdar, Raina Young and Sou-Pan Wu.
