Leona M. Mcneal

Leona M. McNeal, age 89, a long term resident of Hastings died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at the Regina Nursing Home. Leona was born September 30, 1923 in St. Paul, MN to Leon and Marie (Eckert) McNeal. She was a graduate of Webster, WI High School and had worked over 30 years for 3M in the packaging department. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law June McNeal. Leona is survived by her brother Fremont �Pat� McNeal of Webster, WI; niece Margaret Sumner of Chicago, IL; nephew Mike (Cathie) McNeal of Greenfield, MN; grandnieces Caitlyn and Allison McNeal; also special friend Janie Nicholls of Lake Elmo. The Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. Doug Duin will be held 1 PM Thursday, September 26, at Our Saviour�s Ev. Lutheran Church, 400 West Ninth Street, Hastings. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at church. Honorary pallbearers are Caitlyn McNeal, Allison McNeal, Matthew Nicholls, Corey Nicholls and Michael Nicholls. A private interment will be held in Webster, WI at a later date.
