Lawrence George Johnson

Lawrence George Johnson, 77, of Rosemount, formerly of Prior Lake, passed away Monday, March 17. He was born Christmas Day, 1936 in Minneapolis to George Loberg and Audra (nee Schneider) Johnson. Lawrence is survived by his wife of 56 years, Sandra (nee Quist), sons Steven (Terri) and Lane Johnson, grandchildren Jamie, Jenna, and Adam, great-grandchildren Joel and Joselyn, Brother George W. (Audrey) Johnson, and cousins Robert G. and James H. (Dodie) Johnson. He was preceded in death by his son Scott and his sister Shirley Thomas. Lawrence was a hard worker; he loved to bowl, camp, fish, garden, and work outside. He is also a retired volunteer firefighter in Prior Lake. Lawrence will be forever loved. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2 PM Thursday, March 27 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331, with a Gathering of Family and Friends beginning at 1 PM.
