Lawrence E. Weatherly

Lawrence E. �Larry� Weatherly, age 73, of Rosemount died on Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at his home. He was born October 17, 1935 in Minneapolis to Everell and Louise (Pollock) Weatherly. Larry was a 1953 graduate of Hastings High School and hadserved in the Army from January 1954 to 1956.He married Mary Frandrup on September 27, 1958 in Vermillion.Larry was owner of Weatherly Trucking, hauling milk until retiring in 1998, as well as farming near Coates. Lawrence was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Donald and Clarence Weatherly. He is survived by his wife Mary; 4 children: Lisa (Gary) Beskau, Laurinda (Paul) Werner, Randy (Lisa) Weatherly, and Deanne (Marv) Otto all of Hastings; also 8 grandchildren Rachel, Allison, Brad (Annette), Tony, Leon, Megan, Brianna, and Brent; and brother George (Pat) Weatherly of Hastings. The funeral mass, officiated by Fr. Richard Mahoneywill beheld at 11:15 A.M. on Saturday, December 6, 2008 at St. Agatha�s Catholic Church in Coates. The pallbearers are Brad Werner, Tony Werner, Leon Werner, Rachel Beskau, Allison Beskau, and Bernard Frandrup. The interment will follow in St. John�s Cemetery, Vermillion. The visitation for Larry Weatherly will be held from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday, December 5, 2008at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 East 7th Street in Hastings, and also 1 hour prior to the Saturday funeral service at St. Agatha's Catholic Church in Coates, MN.Memorials are Preferred.
