Larry Keith Narveson, age 83, of Burnsville, Minnesota, passed away peacefully at his home on May 6, 2026.
Larry was born on May 4, 1943, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, to Lawrence Peter and Gladys Clara Narveson.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army, attaining the rank of Specialist Fourth Class (SP4, E-4). He was stationed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, where he served as a medic. Following his military service, Larry used the GI Bill to earn his bachelor’s degree, becoming the first member of his family to graduate from college.
Larry enjoyed a long and successful career before retiring from Novartis. In retirement, he discovered a passion for bicycling and joined a senior cycling group, where he formed lasting friendships and explored scenic routes throughout Minnesota and beyond. He loved the sense of freedom and adventure that came with discovering where the road would lead—whether traveling by bike or by car.
Above all, Larry was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and took a genuine interest in the lives of those he loved. He was always ready to share a story, offer encouragement, or simply enjoy being together. Known for his sense of humor and playful nature, Larry brought laughter and warmth to family gatherings and everyday moments alike. His quiet strength, steady presence, and caring heart left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence Peter and Gladys Clara Narveson; and his sisters, Bernice (Jim) Hughes; Norma (Jack) Gilbertson; and his brother-in-law, J. Warren Feuk.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca Narveson and Alexandra Wagner; his grandsons, Colby and Ethan Wagner; his sisters, Grace Feuk and Ardell Narveson; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
