Kristine "Kris" Neve

Kristine "Kris" Neve, age 57 of Hastings, died suddenly but peacefully at home on Wednesday evening, November 18, 2020. Kristine Rene, the daughter of Willard and Lorraine (Polikowsky) Rabehl, was born on June 19, 1963, in Rochester and grew up on the family farm between Rochester and Byron. Kris attended Byron High School and graduated with the class of 1981. She then moved to Eagan and Woodbury before recently moving to Hastings after meeting her sweetheart, Charles "Chuck" Neve. They were later married on August 18, 2018 in Hastings, and while their marriage was short, they created many wonderful memories together. Kris has been working with Centerpoint Marketing and enjoyed the many friendships she created there. She was preceded in death by her parents, Willard and Lorraine Rabehl; grandparents, Theodore and Vera Polikowsky and Frank and Hertha Rabehl; uncles, Marvin Polikowsky and Francis Rabehl; and by her aunts, Marilyn Halvorson, Helen Rabehl, and Oma Rabehl. Kris is survived by her loving husband, Chuck; stepsons, William and Douglas Neve; siblings, Dennis (Sue Bushee) Rabehl, Pamela (Bruce) Gustine, and Neil (Dee) Rabehl; aunt, Aileen Quaale; uncle, John Halvorson; niece and nephew, Bryna Rabehl and Garrett Rabehl; cousins, Terry, Kevin, Karen, Bruce, Brian, Brad, and Amy; and by other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2020, at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings, with Gordon Gathright officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery in Hastings. Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday morning at the funeral home. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
