Kim Marie Wood

Kim Wood, age 60 of Wabasha, formerly of Hastings, died suddenly on Thursday, February 15, 2018, at her home.Kim Marie was born November 1, 1957,in Hastings to Robert and Fay (Shelstad) Schluessler. She grew up and went to school in Red Wing. Kim loved dogs, fishing and helping people whenever she could. She had a contagious laugh which could be heard far away.Kim was preceded in death by her father Robert Schluessler, her son Jeremy "Toad" Wood, and by nephews Anthony Ingli and Travis Schluessler. She is survived by her children Josh Wood and Jamie Wood; by 2 grandchildren Kaleb and Loran Sneen; by her mother Fay Johnson, siblings Terry (Val) Schluessler, Gary (Debbie) Schluessler, Tami (Dale) DeVries; half siblings Shawn (Tom) Gorski, Rob (Jill) Schluessler, Sara Schluessler Holly Schluessler.A Memorial Service officiated by Pastor Jim Bzoskie, will be held Thursday, February 22nd at 3:00 PM at the Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory, 201 7th Street E., Hastings, MN. A gathering will be held one hour prior to that service Arrangements are being completed by Caturia, Smidt Starkson Funeral Home Crematory of Hastings.
