Kevin S. Hanson

Kevin Scot Hanson, age 59, of Belle Plaine, MN, passed away on Thursday, June 19, 2025.

Kevin was born on November 10, 1965, in St. Paul, MN, to Duane and Rosalie Hanson. He grew up in Hastings and graduated from Hastings High School with the Class of 1984.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Duane and Rosalie Hanson; and his brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Jackie Hanson.

He is survived by his loving wife, Denise; his daughter, Kaitlyn; his siblings: Gary (Molly) Hanson, Cindy Bottila, Darroyl (Diana) Hanson, Craig (Lois) Hanson, and Lori (Rodney) Braun; his in-laws: Cheryl (Ken) Thompson, Robert Hokanson, and Ernie (Lori) Hokanson; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews; and his honorary daughter, Tori Nelson.

A Celebration of Life for Kevin will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings, MN, with a visitation one hour prior.

Arrangements are being handled by Starkson Family Life Celebration in Hastings.
