Kenneth Truax

Kenneth Truax, age 75, of Hastings, passed away May 17, 2010 in hospice at Regina. He was born to Richard and Mathilda on August 7, 1934 in Hastings. He married Leota Winberg on June 16, 1956 in St. Paul Park. He retired from Ramsey County Juvenile and Family Court where he served as a referee for 20 years. Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Caleb; Keith; Sheldon; and David. He is survived by his wife, Leota; children, Paul (Lynn); John; Peg; Joann Cole; grandbabies, Callie; Morgan; Kurt; Will; Ben; Luke; brothers, Richard; Frank (Judy); sister, Mary Lou (Richard) Fendrick; sisters-in-law, Marge and Charlotte; brother-in-law, Donald (Carolyn) Winberg; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday (5/22) at 11:00 A.M. at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 615 Vermillion Street, Hastings. Visitation on Friday (5/21) from 4-8 P.M. at the Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings and one hour prior to service at church. Memorials preferred to the Union Gospel Mission.
