Kenneth R. Macheska

Kenneth R. 'Silver' Macheska, age 77, of Hastings, passed away at United Hospital in St. Paul on November 26, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Pearl (McCoy) Macheska; son, William; sisters, Lorraine and Marion; and brothers, Don and Dale. Survived by his wife, Joanne 'Josie'; children, Kim, and Michael (fiance, Becky); grandchildren, Jonathan (girlfriend, Katie), Dustin, and Ryan; great granddaughter, Brooklyn; sister, Jen Hoeschen; and many other relatives and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday (12/2) at 12 noon at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. A visitation will be held 2 hours prior to mass at church. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery. The Wise Family Funeral Home is serving the family.
