Kenneth O. Flygare

Flygare, Kenneth O., age 88, of Mpls. Preceded in death by wife, Elizabeth and 2 brothers, Gordon and Alden. Retired Chief Master Sgt. MN Air National Guard, employed as an aircraft technician over 30 years. Volunteered and worked after retirement at Augustana Lutheran Church. Kenneth was a very kind, loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survived by sons, Steve (Ann), Joel (Judy); daughter, Jane (Jim) Lantz; special grandfather to Sara (Chad) Gerst, Maggie (Adam) Zurko, Katie (Jeff) Williams, Andy Lantz, Jessica and Jennifer Flygare; 3 great-grandchildren, Abby, Nicolas and Evan; sister, Ferne Nelson; many other relatives and friends. Service Saturday, 11 AM, Augustana Lutheran Church, 11th Ave. S. & 7th St., Mpls. Visitation Friday, 5-7 PM, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 3640 23rd Ave. S., and 1/2 hour before service at church. Interment Lakewood.
