Kenneth L. Huffman

Kenneth L. Huffman, age 67, of Hastings died Friday, March 7, 2014 at Angels Care Center in Cannon Falls following his battle with Parkinson's. He was born June 10, 1946 in Blue Earth, MN to Leonard W. and Barbara A. (Salic) Huffman. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served his country in Vietnam. He married Cheryl Page June 29, 1968 at Guardian Angels Catholic Church in Hastings. He was formerly employed as a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry. He was a member of Operating Engineers Local 49. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter Debra Lee Huffman in 1982. He is survived by his wife Cheryl, a son Todd (Kerry) Huffman of Hastings, 3 grandchildren Zachary, Noah and Sophia Huffman, a brother Gerald (Dorothy) Huffman of Hastings, 2 sisters Darlene Groth of Hastings and Kathleen (Willis) Clauson of Missouri. The funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl, will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth Street West in Hastings. There will be a visitation Tuesday from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church. Interment, with Military honors provided by the Hastings VFW Lyle Russell Post #1210 will follow in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers are Rick Baem, Wyman Johnson, Ed Johnson, Tony Engesether, Chad Junker, Stacy Senger and Angie Mammer. Honorary pallbearer is Willis Clauson.
