Thornburg, Kenneth H.

Age 81 of Apple Valley, passed away on Feb. 3, 2020. Preceded in death by his granddaughter, Emily and brother, Glenn. Survived by his children, John (Kim), Bridget (Dave) Nichols, Deb (Kyle) Etter, Cathy Ruschmeier, Melissa (Jeff) Hall and Molly (Daunte) Carlton; 23 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; brother, Gary (Barb); nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Ken graduated from DeLaSalle High School. He worked his whole career at Chicago Northwestern Railroad. After his retirement he worked at the Burnsville Ice Arena. Memorial Service at 11am on Fri., Feb. 7, 2020 at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, with visitation one hour prior. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Last Hope Companion Pet Rescue (www.last-hope.org).
