Kenneth A. Schultz

Kenneth A. Schultz, age 81, of Hastings died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at his home. He was born January 20, 1929 in Shelby, Iowa to Albert and Hulda (Peters) Schultz. Kenneth married Frances Benning on December 30, 1958 in Harlan, Iowa. He worked for many years at Armour Co. prior to retirement.Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Sandra Adell; and brother Clarence. His survivors include wife Frances; son Steven Schultz of Eau Claire, WI, 6 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; brothers Robert (Susan) Schultz and Bruce Schultz;also other family members and friends. A visitation will be held from 6-8pm Thursday, October 7, 2010 at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. Seventh St., Hastings and also one hour prior to the service at church. The Memorial Service, officiated by Rev. David Reiter will be held at 11am Friday, October 8, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church, 602 Vermillion Street, Hastings.
