Kelly Ann Marie Malkow-Akre, age 53, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018 at her residence in Hayward. She was born July 22, 1965. She was united in marriage to Craig Malkow.
Kelly spent over 34 years in banking, starting as a teller and working her way up to branch manager. She had a love for beaches, oceans, and tropical destinations. She loved traveling and exploring new places. Kelly enjoyed her home in Wisconsin, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Craig; her children, Dallas (Jackie) Akre of Lonsdale, MN and Jordan (Mark Thomas) Akre of Newburgh, NY; her bonus children, Cassandra (Kelly) Booth of Burlington, WI and Chase Malkow of Miramar, CA; her grandchildren, Henley, Colt, Reagan, and Mackenzie; her mother, Sandy Bish of Apache Junction, AZ; her sister, Colleen Houghtby and her four half-sisters; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019, from 10am – 2pm with a time for sharing at 1pm at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, MN.
