Kathryn J. “Katy” age 56, of Apple Valley, passed away on Sept. 7, 2013 after a courageous 10 yr. battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, Bruce Priest; her grandparents; 2 aunts; and 2 uncles. Katy is survived by her 2 daughters, Rachel and Elizabeth; her mother, Marian Priest; a brother, David (Laura) Priest; uncle, Richard (Lois) Taylor; aunt, Gail Taylor; Bob and Piper Burghduf; special friends, Dan Tini and Deb Dyslin; nieces, nephews, other family and friends. A “Very Special Thank You” to Lori, Shannon, Tammy, Susan, and Jenny for all of your help over the years! Katy’s funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 14 at 10:30 AM at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley with her visitation to take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Internment at a later date. Memorials are preferred to her daughters custodial fund, the church or the American Cancer Society.
