Katherine A. “Katie” Helmin,
age 21 of Burnsville, born March 9, 1989 in Sioux Falls, SD to Jody and Gary Helmin, passed away September 21, 2010. Katie was a 2007 high school graduate of the School of Environmental Studies, Apple Valley and was currently attending Hamline University in the Environmental studies and Pre-Law programs. She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Daniel Helmin. Katie will be dearly missed by her parents, Jody & Gary Helmin; brother, Eric; grandparents, Ruth & Darrell Young and Marie Helmin and many other family and friends. Katie, you are loved more than you will ever know. Visitation is 3-5PM TODAY, Sunday, Sep. 26, at Henry W Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, and also one hour before the funeral service Monday. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, Sep. 27, 2010 at Hosanna! Lutheran Church, 9600 163rd St. W., Lakeville.
