Karen Potter

Karen Jo (Olson) Potter, age 63, of Waconia, passed away on January 3rd, 2017 at her home after a brief battle with lung cancer. Karen worked as an Administrative Assistant for SouthWest Transit for the past 8 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, upholding her Master Gardner status, dancing, sewing, knitting, beading jewelry and many other hobbies and crafts. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hanley and Lucille Olson. She is survived by her daughter, Jenni Potter; granddaughters Samantha and Erin Potter-Rank; sisters Joyce Olson (Larre Brouhard), Pam (Scott) Miner, Andrea Olson and Laurel Shilling; and many nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, January 22nd, 2017 from 1-4pm at Wise Family Funeral Home in Hastings, MN. Visit wisefamilyfh.com to sign the tribute page.
