Karen A. Brown-Hepp,
Age 53 of Apple Valley, born February 12, 1962 in Detroit, MI to Carl & Marilyn Brown, passed away September 23, 2015 after many courageous battles with cancer. Karen was a substitute teacher in school districts: 191, 192 & 196 where she loved her students as much as she did teaching. She was also very involved in 4H, Girl Scouts, Destination Imagination and many other programs over the years. She is preceded in death by her father, Carl. She will be dearly missed by her husband of twenty-five years, Brian; daughters, Holly and Kaitlyn; mother, Marilyn Brown; siblings: Maryanne (Harlan) Wherley, Jean Brown and Martin (Michelle) Brown and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation, 4-7pm, Monday, September 28, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, and one hour before the Mass on Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial, 11:00am, Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 E. Co. Rd. 42, Burnsville. Memorials may be made to the Sandra J. Schulze American Cancer Society Hope Lodge ? Rochester, MN. Karen will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI with other members of her family.
