K. Allan Nelson

Age 80, of Minneapolis, passed away January 1, 2012, after a short illness. A graduate of South High School and Gustavus Adolphus College, Al had a successful career in banking. He respected everyone and made friends wherever he went. He was active in Minnehaha Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Augustana Lutheran Church. He enjoyed jazz music, a good adventure, calligraphy, bowling, cars, family and friends. Above all, he enjoyed service to others and telling a good story. He will be greatly missed. Visitation and memorial services will be held on January 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary located at 3640 – 23rd Ave. S., Minneapolis. Visitation will include a short Masonic Service at 11:00 a.m. and religious service at 12:00 noon. This is a time to rejoice in his acceptance in God’s house. Come and share your favorite story of K.
