June M. Peterson

June M. Peterson, age 95 of Hastings died Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Augustana Health Care Center. June was born June 12, 1918 in Duluth, MN to John and Martha Johanna (Strandlund) Olson. She had worked as a secretary in the oil industry. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Harry Nelson; second husband Robert Peterson and daughter Phyllis Callihan. June is survived by her son Dr. Mark (Nancy) Nelson; son-in-law Mike Callihan; step-daughter Elizabeth Peterson; granddaughters Sarah and Christine Peterson; also many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. The funeral service, officiated by Rev. Randy Berg will be held 3 PM Sunday, March 30 at Calvary Christian Church, 907 Fifteenth St. West, Hastings. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held in Bethany Cemetery, Hermantown, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Ukraine Ministry with Calvary Christian Church.
