Julianne Marie Thorpe

Julianne Marie Thorpe, 88, of Apple Valley, passed away Tuesday. She was born May 26, 1926 in New Sweden, Minnesota to Joseph Arthur Josendahl and Emma Marie Evangeline Sjostrom. Julianne is survived by her daughter Sharon (Alan) Kelsey. Along with her late husband Elmer, she owned and operated Thorpe Wallpaper and Paint in Fairmont for over 50 years, retiring in 1999. Visitation will begin at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10, Friday, November 7, 2014 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331. Additional Funeral Service will be 10 AM Saturday, November 8 in the Lakeview Funeral Home, 205 Albion Avenue, Fairmont, Minnesota (507) 238-2215, with Visitation 1 hour prior. Interment will be in Fairview Memorial Park, Fairmont.
