Joshua David Carel

Joshua David Carel, age 39 of Hastings, passed away on November 14, 2025, at home with his loving wife and children by his side. Preceded in death by his mother, Rebecca Nordstrom; and brother, Timothy Carel. Survived by his wife, Jennifer; children, Peyton and Beckett; father, Richard; brothers, Scott (Nicole) and Eric; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dale & Sherry Morcomb; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Josh was a graduate of Farmington High School. He took pride in his career as a banker at US Bank. Josh was very involved in USA Boccia and achieved 2nd runner up at the National Boccia Championship. He was an avid Minnesota sports fan and enjoyed playing video games. Josh was a dedicated husband and father and loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.

Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-5:00 PM on Tuesday, Nov. 25, 2025, at the Eagle's Club, 1220 Vermillion Street, Hastings, MN 55033. Josh will be laid to rest next to his mother and brother at Calvary Cemetery in Northfield in the spring. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
