Peterson,Joseph E. age 68 of Hastings passed away Sept. 7, 2008. A graduate from Roberts High school in Roberts, WI., he went on to own and operate his own Exteriors business, J.P. Exteriors. He is preceded in death by his son, Christopher; and his parents, Vernon and Esther Peterson. He is survived by his wife, Charlotte; children, Sam (Mary) Burr; Cyndy (Owen) Heschke; Steve Burr (Nancy); Edward (Marie) Peterson; Scott Burr; Julie Morgan (Tony); Rick (Lynn) Peterson; Kellie Peterson (Richard); 23 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Peggy (Ken) Lashley; Sandy (Tom) Gaustad; Nancy Larson; brothers, Bill (Colleen) Peterson; and Jim (Barb) Peterson; many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday (9/11), 10:00 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 W. 15th St., Hastings. Visitation Wed. (9/10) from 4:00 €“ 8:00 PM at WISE FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 400 Spring St. Hastings, and 1 hour prior to service at church. Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials preferred.
