Joseph "Joe" Fox

Joseph "Joe" Fox, age 54 of Hastings, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, after finishing his final harvest in Marshan Township. Joseph, the son of Roger and Patricia (Andert) Fox was born on October 22, 1962, in Hastings. He attended Hastings High School and graduated with the class of 1981. Following his education, Joe began his life-long career on the farm, which he loved dearly. Joe also loved riding his Harley, his many family and friends, and of course his dogs. The harvest is done, the flag is flying, ride sweetheart, ride. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Joe will be greatly missed by his parents, Roger and Pat of Hastings; his six siblings, Nancy (Joe) Birk, Michael (Andrea) Fox, Kathy Fox, Charlie (Stacy) Fox, Linda (Renier) Steenkamp and Steve (Anna) Fox; his ten nieces and nephews, as well as many other relatives and friends. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Miesville, with Fr. Terry Beeson officiating. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be held AT CHURCH on Monday from 4-8 p.m. with a 6 p.m. prayer service. Visitation will continue for one hour prior to Mass on Tuesday morning, also at church.Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Cremation Services, Hastings.
