John W. Judge

John W. Judge, age 69, of Hastings, died peacefully on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Regina Assisted Living in Hastings.John William, the son of Martin and Eleanor (Sherry) Judge, was born on June 10, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attended Guardian Angels Parochial School, Cretin High School and St. Gregorys College in Oklahoma. John later entered electrical trade school and worked as a Master Electrician in California. John was united in marriage to Mary Lewis.He was preceded in death by both parents, his wife Mary, sister-in-law Bev and step-son Roland Benge.John is survived by his four brothers; James Judge of Hastings, Paul (Margaret) Judge of Encinitas, CA, Tom (T. Natalie) Judge of Hastings and Dan (Alberta) Judge of Hastings; step-children Tony Benge and Laura Benge-Rimat; and many nieces and nephews.In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to Sharp Vista Hospital McDonald Center.Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Regina Chapel in Hastings with Father Martin Siebenaler officiating. Interment was held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Cemetery in Hastings.Arrangements were completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services in Hastings.
