John W., Age 73, of Billings, MT, formerly of Kenyon, MN passed away unexpectedly on Sept 27, 2010. Preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Cora Akre. Survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Kathleen; 5 children, John M.(Beth Peloff), Jennie (Ed) Rasmussen, Dan, Kaia (Kevin) Hillegass and Kirsten (Anthony Star) Akre; 11 grandchildren; 2 step-sons, Laine (Chris) Seppanen and Tyler Seppanen; the children’s mother, Kate; brother, Charles (Sharon); special cousins, Betty Zanmiller & Brynhild Rowberg; relatives and friends. Graveside service Thursday, Sept 30, 3 PM Kenyon Cemetery, Kenyon, MN with his visitation Thursday 11 AM to 12 Noon, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th and Garrett Ave, Apple Valley. Memorials to Grace Lutheran Church LCMC, Billings, MT or Camp Christikon, MT.
