John "Scotty" Scott

John "Scotty" Scott, age 74, recently of Hastings and formerly of Inver Grove Heights, died Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at United Hospital in St. Paul.Scotty was a longtime bush plane pilot who was proud of his Scottish ancestry. He worked for Wipaire Inc. which allowed him to travel and fly around the world selling floats. Scotty also loved playing the bagpipes.He was preceded in death by his parents and by his daughter, Nikki.Scotty is survived by his loving children, Danny, Fiona, Anthony, Kelly, David and James; his significant other, Bonnie Rice; and by many other relatives and friends.Memorial services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at Regina Medical Center Chapel, 1175 Nininger Road, Hastings, with a reception following at Jerseys Bar Grill, 6449 Concord Blvd, Inver Grove Heights. Visitation will be held at Regina Chapel for one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services in Hastings.
