John Patrick Nee

John Patrick Nee, 65, of Apple Valley, passed away Monday, August 12. He was born March 1, 1948 in Boston, Mass. to Harold and Eleanor (nee Boyan) Nee. John is survived by daughters; Emily (Peter) Rettig and Sarah (Troy) Meyer, 8 grandchildren; Annie, Aggie, Emme, Charlie, Max, Maleah, Jack, and Hannah, sisters; Elaine Nee and Barbara (Leo) Lore, brother; Raymond (Gail) Nee, many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes, in 2011. John loved being with his grandchildren, especially his dates with Annie. He will be forever loved and treasured. A Gathering of Family and Friends is scheduled for 4-7 PM Monday, August 19 at the Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley (952) 432-2331, and 1 hour prior to 11 AM Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, August 20 at the Church of the Risen Savior, 1501 East County Road 42, Burnsville. Inurnment with Honors will be 12:45 PM Tuesday in Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
