John L. Thyen

John Lee Thyen, age 51, of Kirkland, Washington, formerly of Hastings died January 7, 2014 in Washington following a lengthy illness. John was born September 7, 1962 in St. Paul, MN. His parents are LeRoy L. and Angeline H. (Schmidt) Thyen. He worked as a carpenter. John is survived by his parents LeRoy and Angeline Thyen of Hastings and a sister Judith (Michael) Jordan of Lakeville as well as several other relatives. A Memorial Mass will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2014 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 Fifteenth Street West, Hastings, MN. There will be a gathering of friends and family 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
