John Kyle Knetter of Hampton, a Randolph High School Senior, passed away April 9, 2014. He was born in Maplewood on April 29, 1996 to John and Dahrys (Harris) Knetter. John was employed at Dudley’s Pizza, played on the high school football team, and was a member of Boy Scout Troop 118 in Farmington. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Mildred Matthews; grandfather, Daryl Harris; and uncle, Daryl Ray Harris. John is survived by his parents, John and Dahrys Knetter; siblings, Joshua Dixon (Kelly Roan); Janel (David) Schirmacher; and Katelyn Rose Knetter; grandmother, Sandy (Dale) Flom; grandfather, Antone Knetter; great aunt, Mae Odegaard; uncle, Antone (Anna) Knetter; aunt, Kathleen (Paul) Murray; aunt, Jennifer Knetter; aunt, Sandra (Doug) Ellstrom; and uncle, Terry Harris; nieces and nephews, Jace and Amelia Schirmacher; and Amora Ray Knetter; other relatives and many friends. A Mass of Christian Burial, officiated by Fr. Stan Mader, will be held on Monday (4/14) at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mathias Catholic Church in Hampton. A visitation will be held Sunday (4/13) from 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Wise Family Funeral Home, 400 Spring St., Hastings and 1 hour prior to the mass at church on Monday.
