John "Jack" Marschall

John "Jack" Marschall, age 96, of St. Paul, passed away November 7, 2021. Jack retired after 47 years at 3M as Tape Division Manufacturing Director. He was an expert on plastic films and started up many manufacturing operations in the United States and Europe. He and his wife traveled extensively worldwide. Jack was an avid golf and tennis player into his 90's. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Lou; parents, Nicholas and Agatha of Hastings; and siblings, Bette Tingquist, Patricia Mayer, Mae Maher, and James Marschall. Jack is survived by his 5 daughters, Susan (Gary), Mary Lou (Dick), Lisa (Steve), Jaci (Bob), and Tina (Jerry); 5 grandchildren, Scott (Ashley), Ryan, Eric, Lauren (Stephen) and Colin; 5 great grandchildren, Brenna, Hadley, Carter, Josh and Caleb; and Jack's sister, Mary Lou. A private family Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials preferred to Carmelite Hermitage, www.CarmeliteHermitage.org, or donor's choice.
