Rogers, John “Jack” Leon

Age 70 of Minneapolis, born January 20, 1948, passed away January 31, 2018. Jack was an avid student with varied interests and enjoyed bible study, singing, and the company of friends and family.  He loved sports and talking politics.  People were drawn to Jack’s humor, gentle manner and forgiving spirit. He had a compassionate soul that reflected his deep and unquestioning faith in God. Jack was preceded in death by mother, Marianne Coughlin and brother-in-law, David Hervey. He will be dearly missed by his siblings: Roberta “Bee” Hervey, Patricia “Patti” Barber, Mary (Shane) Perry and Casey Coughlin and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, February 17, 2018 with a visitation one hour before in the chapel at Lyngblomsten; 1415 Almond Avenue, St. Paul. Jack will be laid to rest at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Minneapolis.
