John J. Kostecky

Kostecky, John J. Age 67, of Mpls. passed away peacefully on Nov 14, 2017 in the arms of his loving wife, surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with cancer. John is survived by his wife of 48 years, Carol; his children, Mark (Amanda Riek), Karen (Jason) LeZalla and Daniel (Susan); and grandchildren: Jack, Thatcher, Finn and Averie LeZalla, Isaac and Elise Kostecky.  He was a kind, caring, thoughtful, easy going guy. He was well loved by his family and friends and those he worked with at Room&Board, as well as his coworkers and customers at the Riverview Theater where he greeted each person with a welcoming smile. We find peace and comfort knowing that he is with his Lord and Savior. Service Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017 at 11:00 am with visitation at 10:30 at Bethesda Church, 15033 Highway 13 South, Prior Lake, MN. In lieu of flowers, memorials to family preferred which will go towards a bench at the State Fair in John’s honor.
