John F. Kaufman

Kaufman, John F. Age 82, Of Savage Formerly of Rosemount Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Josephine (Konz) Kaufman; and son, John Joseph. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, Harriet; daughters, Betsy (Mike) Rud and Susan (Rick) Meemken; daughter-in-law, Sandy Kaufman; sister, Betty Kaufman; grandchildren, Ami, Alicia (James), Becky, Rachel, Ethan and Sarah; great granddaughter, Melissa. Beloved husband, father and grandfather. John passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 9, 2007. John grew up in Augusta, WI and served in WWII in the 20th Armored Division. John graduated from the U of WI as a civil engineer and worked at Koch Refinery for over 33 years. John was a devoted family man and Christian who enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and tree cutting. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church or Fairview Hospice Care. Mass of Christian Burial, Thursday, 10 AM, ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 4625 W. 125th St., Savage with his visitation Wednesday from 5-8 PM at HENRY W. ANDERSON MORTUARY, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley. Interment Augusta, WI.
