John E. Dohlke, age 84, of Apple Valley, MN, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, at M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital, surrounded by his family. Born on July 6, 1940, in Winona, MN, he was the son of William and Angeline (Matelski) Dohlke. A proud Marine, devoted husband, and family man, John cherished his loved ones above all. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Rita Dohlke; sister, Fran Starkson; brother, Robert Dohlke; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Beverly Steinke. Private family services will be held at a later date.
