John D. Joki, age 84 of Hastings and formerly of Minneapolis, died peacefully on Saturday morning, August 5, 2017, at Regina Senior Living in Hastings, following an extended illness. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 9, 2017, at the Regina Chapel in Hastings, with Father Thomas OBrien officiating. Visitation will be held at the chapel for one hour prior to the service. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis. Arrangements are being completed by Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home Cremation Services of Hastings.
