John C. Simone

John C. Simone, age 54 of Hastings died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at hishome. John was born August 31, 1956 in St. Paulto Charles and Beverly (Gustafson) Simone. He married Beverly Jean Peters on November 14, 1981 at the St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings. He was employed at Smead Manufacturing for 35 years, and enjoyed golfing, fishing, and deer hunting. John was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife Bev; daughter Rachel (Rick) Juba of Wyoming, MN; mother Bev Garscia of Cottage Grove; sister Cheryl (Doug) Hanson of Cottage Grove; and brother Tony (Maria) Simone of St. Petersburg, FL. The Funeral Mass, officiated by Fr. James Perkl will be held at 10:30a.m. Friday, June 17, 2011 at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 2035 West Fifteenth Street, Hastings, with visitationpreceding the serviceat church from9 to 10:30am. The pallbearers are Butch Lange, Andy Lange, Bob Iverson, Adam Losh, Mitch Peters, Matt Peters. Interment in the parish cemetery will be held at a later date.
