Joel N. Giebner

Joel N. Giebner, age 46 of Bloomington, died suddenly on Sunday, March 7, 2021. Joel came from Vietnam as in infant in 1975. He was one of the "airlift" babies that came to the United States at the end of Vietnam War Era. Joel has been a thirty year resident of the J.E.C. Miller Group Homes in Bloomington. He enjoyed attending the day programs at Opportunity Partners at Karlin Center. He is survived by his mother, Sandra Giebner; sisters, Carrie and Crystal; brothers, Norman (Phyllis), Paul, Tyler, and Seth; and by other relatives and friends. Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
