Joanne J Hansen

JoAnne J. Hansen, age 77 of Minneapolis, born August 25, 1933 in Sandstone, MN to Herbert & Esther Johnson, passed away October 1, 2010. JoAnne was active with the Presbyterian Women’s group as well as many other activities at Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ken; sisters: Lillian, Kay and Judy; and brother, Harland “Huck”. JoAnne will be dearly missed by her children: Terry (Cindy) Hansen, Kim Walstrom (Mike Hanson) and Kathryn (Chris) Sathre; grandchildren: Cristy, Sarah, Heidi, Stephanie, Jaxon, Sheila, Linda, Vanessa and Ashley; great-grandchildren: Xavier, Zabin, Kailey, Haddy, Taiyib, Karra and Sawyer; sister, Fran Petersen; bother-in-law, Wally Rypkema and many other family and friends. A funeral service will be held, 12:00 Noon, with a visitation starting at 10:00 AM, Friday, October 8, 2010 at Lake Nokomis Presbyterian Church, 1620 E. 46th St., Mpls. Memorials may be made to the church or the St. Jude Home for Children.
