Joanne I. Kerstetter

JoAnne Iris Kerstetter, age 71, of Hastings, died December 21, 2009 at United Hospital in St. Paul. JoAnne was born November 10, 1938 in Hastings to Carl and Frieda (Herkenratt) Hankes, and was a 1956 graduate of Hastings High School. She married Robert Paul Kerstetter on July 20, 1957 in Hastings and was employed by Smead Manufacturing. JoAnne was preceded in death by her parents; brother Peter Dale, and husband Robert. She is survived by five children, Scott, Margie (David) Robinson, Mark, Kraig (Sandra), and Donald, all of Hastings; eight grandchildren, Brad, Gary, Angie, Paula, Katie, Rachel, Jaci, and Alicia; two great-grandchildren, Anika and Megan; also ten siblings, Carla, Keith, Marlene, Janice, Pat, Lois, Beth, Justin, Michael, and Linda. The Funeral Service, officiated by Rev. Connie Claxton will be held at 1pm Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at St. Luke�s Episcopal Church, 615 Vermillion St., Hastings, followed by interment in Lakeside Cemetery. The pallbearers are Gary Robinson, Brad Shonkwiler, Al Storlie, Jon Langenfeld, Tom Radabaugh, and Angie Robinson.She will be missed at the cruise.
