Joann C. Manteufel,
age 78 of Bloomington, born May 24, 1932 in Minneapolis to Warren and Sylvia Vickers, passed away October 25, 2010. Joann was an elementary school nurse for 30 years in the Robbinsdale School District and was very active with the women’s groups at Minnehaha United Methodist Church in Minneapolis. Joann will be missed by her husband, Roger; brother, Lee (Carolyn) Vickers; niece, Tobie Vickers-Lee (Paul); nephew, Pete (Karolyn) Vickers and other family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 28, with a visitation one hour before at Minnehaha United Methodist Church, 3701 E. 50th St., Mpls. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Minnehaha UMC Parish Nurse Program.
