Joan M. Tupper, age 75, of Hastings, formerly of Walker, MN passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2009 at Regina Nursing Home. Joan was born May 8, 1933 in Detroit, MI to Donald and Katherine (Alimoff) McGinley. She was united in marriage to Kent P. Tupper on December 18, 1954 in Minneapolis, and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kent on August 1, 2000. Joan is survived by her children, Kent Michael Tupper (Peggy) of Prescott, WI and Kay M. Tupper-Bunker (Harland) of Coon Rapids; grandchildren, Jessica (Jesse) Palmer, Brandon (Elizabeth) Tupper, Lindsey Tupper, Kent Andrew Bunker, Kristina Bunker, Nathan Bunker; great grandchildren, Aiden Tupper, and Kaeden Palmer. Private Family Services with interment in Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. The pallbearersare her 6 grandchildren.
