Jim C. Wallner

Jim C. Wallner, age 41, of Hastings died on January 21, 2012.Jim was born July 6, 1970 to Dale and Linda (Thompson) Wallner. He was a 1988 Graduate of Hastings High School and worked as a plane refueler in the airline industry. He enjoyed skydiving, the Minnesota Vikings and spending time with his niece and nephews.Hewas preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence Thompson, and Herb and Irene Wallner.Jim is survived by his parents Dale and Linda Wallner of Hastings; brother Gregg (Kelly) Wallner of Cottage Grove; sister Tracy (Andy) Henderson of Oronoco; niece and nephews Blake and Ben Anderson, Brady Wallner, Caleb and Emily Henderson his grandmother Edna Thompson.The Memorial service, officiated by Pastor Ed Frederick,will be held 7:00PM Wednesday at the Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home, 201 E. 7th St. Hastings. The visitation will be held from 4-7PM prior to the service.
