Jessica Lara Thomas

Jessica Lara Thomas of Faribault, MN passed away from cancer at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, MN on September 26, 2021. She was born in Pisac, Peru on April 5, 1988. She was adopted along with her sister Veronica in April 1991 to Larry and Jan Thomas. She graduated from Hastings High School in 2006. Jessica went on to the Minneapolis Art Institute and graduated with a BA in Marketing and Advertising. She was currently attending Mankato South Central to further her education in Child Psychology. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George and Rosella Bauer and Nick and Rose Thomas. Jessica is survived by her parents, Larry and Jan Thomas; siblings, Veronica Thomas and Michael Cheuvront of Northfield, MN; and Nancy, Yanet, and Rildo of Lima, Peru; also very dear to her heart, her nephew, Camden and nieces, Kaylee and McKenzie. She is also survived by her step brothers and sister, Ron Thomas, Doug (Robin) Thomas, Lori (Doug) Lorenz, and Dean (Elkki) Thomas; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss her dearly. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 12 noon at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion St. in Hastings. A visitation will be held from 10:30 -12:00 noon at the funeral home. Interment, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Cemetery in Hastings. Memorials preferred, in Jessica's honor, to The American Cancer Society or The Animal Ark in Hastings, MN
