Jerry Robert Kistner

Kistner, Jerry Robert, age 54 of Apple Valley, MN, formerly of North College Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio. Founder and owner of Tyler Madison, Inc. for 14 years. Member and servant of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church for 20 years. Went to his Lord and Savior peacefully at his home on July 8th, 2010 surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a wonderful husband, father and friend. His humor and fun-loving spirit lives on in the hearts of those who knew him. Preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Elsie. He is survived by his loving wife, Jenni of 28 years; son, Tyler, 22 and daughter, Madison, 18; siblings, Steve, Greg, Linda Hagen and Alvin; and nieces, Emily Jones, Natalie and nephew, Aaron; mother and father-in-law, Joan and Jack Mohr; brother-in-law, Jeff Mohr and his sons, Shaun, John and Justin; his loving neighborhood family and loyal friends and valued employees. Jerry loved boating, playing golf, family vacations, and his home which was always open to his friends. Funeral service, Tuesday, July 13, 11 AM, Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley. Visitation Monday, July 12 from 4 to 7 pm, Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Avenue, Apple Valley and one hour prior to service at the church. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association.
