Jerome A. Hengy

Hengy, Jerome A. “Joe” age 49, of Eagan, passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 12, 2009 after a tragic fall while hiking in Alaska. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Margy; and brother, Joseph. Survived by loving wife of 25 years, Nancy; son, Grant; daughter, Rachel; brother, Matt (Kena); 4 sisters, Sue Johnson, Pam (Steve) Poirier, Kate (Jeff) Gretz and Teresa (Dirk) Christianson; mother-in-law & father-in-law, Eunice & Egon Mutzke; brothers-in-law, Bernhard (Lorna) and Arnold (Susan) Mutzke; sisters-in-law, Julie (Matt) Westermayer and Kathy (Craig) Rozman; extended family including nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Joe was employed at the VA Medical Center as a neurosurgical PA and was a member of the MN Air National Guard for over 20 years. He loved the outdoors and traveling. He was a kind, caring husband who will be deeply missed by everyone. Memorial service Sunday, Aug. 23, 2009, 2:00 PM at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road, Apple Valley with a gathering of family and friends Saturday, Aug. 22, 2-4 PM at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 147th & Garrett Ave., Apple Valley
