Jennifer Marie Satchell

Jennifer Marie Satchell, age 51, of Hastings, MN, passed away after a long battle with cancer on April 30, 2025, at her home and surrounded by family. She was born on October 2, 1973, to Gerald and Joleen (Meeker) Wright in St. Paul, MN. Jennifer married Brad Satchell at Joy Lutheran Church in Prescott on February 19, 1994.

Jenny graduated from Hastings High School in 1992. She then attended Aveda Institute in Minneapolis to obtain her Cosmetology license and later continued her career by obtaining her Cosmetologist Salon Manager License in order to create her own LLC. She was an accomplished nail technician for almost 30 years in the industry, making numerous lifelong friends along the way. She took tremendous pride in her work. She also enjoyed riding motorcycle with her husband, camping every summer weekend with friends, vacations in Key West each year, and every moment she could spend with her family—especially her two kids, seven grandkids, and four siblings.

Jenny had an infectious laugh and personality. To say she could be heard across a crowded room would be an understatement. She had a tremendous love for the ocean and beaches, as well as the mountains of Montana. From white-water rafting in the mountains to snorkeling the reefs around the Dry Tortugas, Jenny lived life to its fullest. Everyone that got to know her knew she was something special.

Jenny was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald and Joleen Wright, and her brother, Jim Wright.

Jenny is survived by her husband, Brad; son, Tyler (Chelsea) Satchell; daughter, Becky (Steven) Lutchen; grandchildren, Sophia, Silas, Hayden, Frankie, Teralyn, Burkley, Maverick; sister, Jane (Steve) Kiester; brother, Jeff (Chris) Wright; sister, Julie (Randy) Miller; sister-in-law, Margaret (Jim) Wright; father- and mother-in-law, Bill and Sandy Satchell; sisters-in-law, Betsy (Vince) Benaszeski and Melissa (Travis) Koehler; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at Joy Lutheran Church, 1435 St. Croix Street, Prescott, WI. Family and friends may gather to remember Jenny 1 hour prior to the service from 4 to 5 pm at the church.
