Jeffrey L. Meling

Meling, Jeffrey L. Age 64, of Apple Valley. Born in Gilman, IA, in 1942, passed away April 30, 2007. Jeffrey worked in the car business for 40 years, retiring after 26 years with Grossman Chevrolet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny & Evelyn Meling. Jeffrey is survived by his wife, Doris; children, Jolene (Tim) Bertness, Dan (Jule) Meling, David (Marcia) Meling, Julie (John) Hermeier, Chad Exe, Jennifer (Andy) Rezac, and Heidi (John) Magnoski; 23 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Larry Meling; half brother, Haldene Meling; and half sister, Linda Mitchell. Funeral service is 11:00 am, Thursday, May 3, 2007 at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 7510 Palomino Dr., Apple Valley. Visitation is 6:00-8:00 pm TODAY, at Henry W. Anderson Mortuary, 14850 Garrett Ave., Apple Valley, and also one hour before the service at church. Interment will be 11:00 am, Friday, May 4th at the East St. Olaf Church Cemetery in Byron. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made.
